Abstract
This Video Assisted Instruction Course will focus on the difficult situations that a surgeon may be faced with while performing phacoemulsification, with discussion of methods to optimize surgical outcomes in those situations. Ways and means to tackle cataract with corneal comorbidity, capsulorhexis complication, small non-dilating pupil, hard cataract, intumescent white cataract, posterior polar cataract and subluxated cataract will be taught. Appropriate surgical videos along with case-based interaction will be used to highlight surgical principles and tips in these situations.
