Abstract

Cataract surgery in a case of microcornea with coloboma may pose multiple challenges in the visual outcome.

This video addresses the following challenges:

• Minimal work space due to microcornea with a normal size cataractous lens.

• Inadequate pupil dilatation due to correctopia

• Zonular dehiscence in the area of the coloboma causing difficult rhexis.

• IOL implantation in the bag with zonular dehiscence with CTR support.
