Purpose:

No less often we come across deceptive clinical signs in the field of Paediatric ophthalmology and Strabismus. The purpose of this film is to tell the “pseudo tale” of such pseudo signs and pseudo syndromes in Paediatric ophthalmology, Strabismus and Neuro-ophthalmology

Setting/Venue:

Patients presenting in an outpatient services of Strabismus, Paediatric ophthalmology and Neuro-ophthalmology clinic in a tertiary eye care center

Methods:

Digital photographic and video graphic documentation of “pseudo” signs; for example- pseudo Argyl Robertson pupil, pseudo Von Grafe’s sign, pseudo (inverse) Duane’s, pseudo-papilloedema, pseudo Foster Kennedy syndrome, pseudo-strabismus, pseudo-ptosis, pseudo-proptosis etc..

Conclusion:

Pseudo’s are real, but real eyes realize real lies!
