Abstract
VKH disease is a B/L granulomatous intraocular inflammation associated with serous retinal detachments(RD),disc edema, and vitritis.we report a patient, aged 40 who presented with sudden onset diminution of Vision of in both eyes for 2 days.A/S examination findings were normal, fundus and oct was done.Fundus showed few serous RD along superior and inferior arcades, around optic disc and at macula and retinal folds seen around macula and optic disc.Oct showed few neurosensory detachment and subretinal septae.Patient was treated with oral steroids.Vision improved in both eyes from CF 2M to 6/18 in 3 days.Fundus showed resolution of the serous detachments around the disc and vascular arcades with little edema persisting at fovea and oct showed decreased exudative RD at fovea with disappearance of RD at other areas on day 3.Vision improved rapidly with oral steroid.Fundus picture showed reduction in exudative RD.OCT findings correlated with the improvement in vision.
