Abstract
Management of Primary Rhegmatogenous Retinal detachment is an evolving science. Multiple procedures like Laser Photocoagulation, Pneumatic Retinopexy , Scleral buckle, Vitrectomy with tamponade have been described in literature to manage this condition leading to the dilemma in the minds of Ophthalmologist handling them. In this IC senior retinal surgeons with immense experience in handling RD will cover all types of procedures currently in use in managing RD and would give clear guidelines regarding role of a particular procedure in a clinical setting.
