Abstract

AIM- To evaluate Ophthamic manifestations in HIVpatients under HAART(highly active antiretroviral therapy) v/s without HAART

METHODS-observational study undertaken between july2019 – may2020 at tertiary eyecare centre in collaboration with ARTcentre.

75 HIV patients under HAART for 6 months and 75 HIV patients without HAART were taken

LID AND ADENEXAL MANIFESTATIONs 11% 5%

CONCLUSION- With use of HAART incidence of Systemic manifestations of HIV declined significantly but increased development of ophthalmic morbidity thereby possess new challenge

ocular examination should be done regularly in these patients to treat vision threatening ocular lesions at earliest
