Abstract
55 years old female presented with sudden loss of vision in her Right eye. History of IOL implantation with CTR in the same eye before 3 months. on examination there was subluxated IOL & CTR with total RD. Patient was managed with IOL & CTR explantation done followed by 23 G Vitrectomy Sx + ED + PFCL injection + EL + Posterior iris claw IOL implantation + PFCL air exchange + Silicon oil injection.
there was well attached retina in silicone oil filled eye with posterior iris claw IOL in place & very good post operative visual improvement.
Posterior Iris Claw IOL implantation can be done in single sitting along with management of rhegmatogenous RD with Vitrectomy Sx & silicone oil injection to give better visual outcome to the patient & to reduce frequent surgical intervention in a patient.
