Abstract
Methods: A male patient,52 years old,advocate presented with complaints of blurred vision left eye since 15 days.Left eye vision recorded was 6/12(p).Anterior segment examination was done.
Result: Anterior segment showed RE-Iris naevus present inferotemporally.LE-Cornea hazy,edematous.Anterior chamber-variable in depth.Iris nodules present temporally extending from 1 clock to 5 clock position.Pupil is reactive,horizontally oval with ectropion uveae from 2-4 clock.Fundus-CDR 0.5.Applanation RE:14mm Hg,LE:36 mm Hg.Gonio-RE-open angles,LE-open and 5 clock hours PAS.Visual fields-WNL.He was treated with Tab.Diamox 250mg BD and Dorzox eye drops three times a day(LE).
Post treatment:Corneal edema cleared,vision improved to 6/6.Left eye applanation-14 mm Hg with single drug.
Conclusion:ICE syndrome is unilateral,though more common in females it may be considered even in males.Regular IOP checkup and field tests necessary to monitor the progression.
