Abstract
8 year old boy presented with ocular pain, swelling and unable to close his right eye for 15 days following pencil injury.RE BCVA was 3/60,child had warm tense swelling with tenderness associated with periorbital involvement,Swelling measured 4×3 cm with complete ophthalmoplegia and significant proptosis.NCCT Orbit shows thickening of preseptal soft tissue of RE, S/O orbital cellulitis.Patient was started on intravenous antibiotics and eye drops.On 3rd day child developed fungal corneal ulcer and Antifungal treatment was also started. After 2 months, complete resolution of ophthalmoplegia,periorbital swelling, fungal corneal ulcer with final BCVA of 6/12p in RE was achieved.
