A 27 year old male presented with chief complaints of diminution of vision in right eye(RE) for last 10 months.There was no history of trauma. He underwent both eye(BE) femtolasik at private hospital and postoperative period being uneventful with good gain in vision. He was lasered for lattices in BE after few months. On examination he had best corrected visual acuity of 2/60 and 6/9(20/40) in left eye(LE). Intraocular pressure in RE was found to be 11 mmhg and LE was 16 mmhg. Anterior segment of BE was within normal limits.On fundus examination using indirect ophthalmoscopy of right eye – altered glow was seen with subtotal rhegmatogenous retinal detachment with proliferative vitreoretinopathy(PVR) type A and pigment clumps noted in vitreous at inferior 7 O clock position. Postoperatively day1, patient had a vision of right finger counting close to face and Projection of rays accurate. At 1st month follow up vision had improved to 6/36 and retina attached.
