Abstract
Method: This is a prospective study we enrolled all cataracts operated between 2004-2018 and any complication and its repair reported in pretested online form and all post-operative data documented all these data exported to excel sheet from EMR and analysed by SPSS22.
Results: Our cohort involved 3015 cases out of 1.2 l total cataract cases. We documented IOL related complications 245-8.1%, Out of which 26-0.9% were IOL drop, remaining were IOL mal position.We studied thatcorrective surgery has made significant difference in visual outcome.
Conclusion: Cataract surgeries done by trainee surgeons caused complications during IOL insertion, interventions done by vitreo retinal surgeons made significant difference in final visual outcome.
