Abstract
Results- In the present study, improvement of vision was found in 66.35% cases, no improvement in 9.34% cases, while in 7.47% cases vision detoriated. It has been observed that delayed in the arrival and treatment, involvement of vital ocular structures, raised IOP, secondary infection etc. were the common risk factors for poor visual prognosis.
Conclusion- Most of the patients who presented early had good visual outcome after treatment. So timely arrival and proper management have great impact on visual prognosis. Ocular healty education also plays an important role in minimizing ocular injuries.
