Abstract
Case – A 27 year old male presented to Ophthalmology OPD with chief complaints of headache on and off since 1 year and blurring of vision since 1 month.
All routine Ophthalmological examinations and perimetry was done.
Findings-Fundus examination showed B/L Papillodema and Perimetry suggested Right Homonymous Hemianopia.
Approach- Patient was refered to Neuro-surgery with high suspicion of a Neuro-pathology. His MRI-Brain showed a presence of a lesion in the left Occipital lobe. Craniotomy and excision of the tumour was done successfully ,which was histopathologically proved to be a Grade II Oligodendroglioma.
Conclusion- Meticulous examination and investigations by the Ophthalmologist can lead to early detection of ICSOL
