Abstract

This is a video based course showing how to fix both the Capsular bag & the Iris to their respective beds.

Traumatic subluxation and iridodialysis oft copresent.It is customary to fix the iridodialysis & subluxation separately on their own merits.Iridodialysis is managed by cobblers,sewing machine or hang-back method.Subluxation is managed by CTR +/- Capsular segments and sutures.These will be discussed in detail with VIDEOS and imaging techniques.

The speakers will showcase AN innovation with video that combines capsular bag stabilisation and fixation with simultaneous hang-back repair of iridodialysis (upto 45°) all at ONE GO.

The New method using a Hoffman pocket is reproducible and the speakers want to share how to achieve the best of results in such difficult circumstances.
