Abstract
Phacoemulsification with foldable intraocular lens implantation is the method of choice for cataract treatment. The preoperative assessment, surgical techniques, choice of intra-ocular lens, varies based on the overall ocular condition. While in majority of the situations the steps can be repeated, there are many rarer ocular conditions where the entire approach is different, tailor made and needs meticulous planning and experience. This video based course will deal with phacoemulsification in those situations.
