Abstract

Accreditation has attracted a lot of interest in recent years, as a comprehensive approach for maintaining and improving eye care quality. Government & Insurance agencies are insisting on Accreditation for empanelment. Most of us are not sure how to start the process and end up wasting time and money. This interactive IC will simplify the process of getting started and applying for accreditation. There will be a mix of didactic lectures and videos on infrastructure, infection control, implementation of the Accreditation system & sharing best practices from accredited hospitals The speakers will emphasize what needs to be done and on pitfalls to be avoided. The focus of IC will be to help simplify the accreditation process & provide information about resources required for step by step implementation of accreditation standards in ophthalmic practice ( especially solo & small practices). The faculty includes senior ophthalmologists, NABH assessors, and infection control experts.
