Abstract
Diagnosis in retina is largely based on clinical examination. An astute clinician would observe, identify and describe every small abnormal retinal finding and then correlate it with other details to reach a differential and final diagnosis. In today’s era multimodal imaging has enhanced our diagnostic capabilities. A good knowledge of correlation of clinical findings with lesion characteristics on imaging modalities like OCT and OCTA enhances the clinicians ability to clinch the diagnosis. OCT has helped us identify a number of new microscopic morphological changes such as focal choroidal excavation, choroidal cavern etc. All these new OCT and OCTA findings shall be discussed. New differential diagnosis of conditions like CSR, hitherto unseen subretinal vessels and detailed morphological analysis of large retinal lesions is now possible. Through this IC we aim to give a good idea to the attendees of how the final diagnosis can change based on imaging and its clinical correlation.
