Abstract

The burden of mycotic keratitis especially in tropical countries would be highlighted in addition to a detailed description of its various clinical features and laboratory techniques, various medical and surgical management of fungal corneal infection including intrastromal antifungals and its sustained drug delivery systems. Additionally, the role of cross-linking would be emphasized along with the discussions on various landmark clinical trials

Objective: The attendees would learn basics to advanced level of understanding of fungal keratitis and the varied range of medical and surgical management in overcoming infections
