Abstract
A good surgeon is one who not only gives excellent functional and aesthetic results, but knows how to deal with inadequate results. Oculoplasty surgeries occasionally need a correction or a revision. Under/overcorrection and complications, adjustments of a tarsofrontal sling over month or years in Ptosis repair are situations we often need to address and treat. Lower eyelid entropion post surgery recurrence ,failed DCR, exposed orbital implants, are just some of the scenarios we see in oculoplasty. Blepharoplasty needs an in-depth understanding of anatomy and how to revise badly done cases.Modifying surgical technique such as to suit challenging cases, or the use of MMG in various situations all require a certain amount of skill and knowledge. This IC is a video and case based course so as to be able to prepare you to review, rework and revise oculoplasty surgeries.
