Abstract

A large proportion (15-40%) of routine patients managed in a general Ophthalmologist’s Clinic, pertain to complaints of OSD & its variants.

Confusions reign, associated with the DD, contributory factors, applicability of specific syndromes such as CVS, LIDE & CLIDE and masquerades. Concerns related to selection of appropriate lubricants, roles of adjuncts such as immune-modulators & and the newer molecules (eg chloroquine, rebamipide & lifitegrast) shall be addressed complete with an update on existing protocols. Changing Paradigms of OHHQ, COVID-19 era special provisions and the role of Vit D3 shall be discussed.

This IC has been largely re-designed from the previous highly successful IC with the inclusion of new topics and
