Abstract
A 35 years old patient suffered alkali ( Chuna ) injury in both the eyes two years back. He underwent Limbal stem cell transplantation followed by optical penetrating keratoplasty in left eye which failed twice. He had normal posterior segment with accurate projection of light rays in all the quadrant. His right eye was phthisical. Auro Keratoprosthesis was done successfully after excising all the fibrovascular membranes over the ocular surface and releasing all the symblepharon. Postoperatively he had best corrected visual acuity of 20/200 at one month follow up. Surgical technique of Auro KPro in a patient with extensive symblepharon and fibrovascular pannus will be demonstrated.
