Pre operative or intraopertaive miosis is a common difficulty faced by surgeons in cataract surgery. Non mydriatic pupil might be caused by various reasons like pseudoexfoliation syndrome, posterior synichae in uveitic cataract, floppy iris sydrome etc. Different techniques can be used for intraoperatively to achieve adequate mydrisasis.
