Phacoemulsification is widely performed surgery with successful outcome but sometimes we may face difficulties in the easiest step also. Usually the IOL implant opens gracefully in the bag after injecting but there are few instances where the haptic does not open. In this video one such incidence and its management has been captured. After injecting the IOL in the capsular bag the haptic was not opening and then it was noticed that the haptic is stuck behind the optic. Later the IOL was tumbled and the haptic was released with the help of dialer.
