Abstract

Slitlamp evaluation is one of the basic examination techniques of Ophthalmology.For long periods conventional slitlamp assisted teaching has been used for imparting clinical skills to residents/fellows.A sidescope or the viewing oculus itself was used which maybe cumbersome for the learner as well as teacher.Here we describe a smart slitlamp,where a slitlamp can be converted into a webcam using a smartphone and effectively improving teaching as well as learning.
