Abstract
Purpose-To study morphologic changes on OCTA of CNVM in neovascular ARMD following AntiVegf treatment. Method- Retrospective analysis of 28 eyes of 22 patients with n- ARMD treated with Bevacizumab/Ranibizumab using 6X6 mm scan. Results- Preinjection OCTA showed fine branch cap & peripheral arcades in 27 of 28 eyes(96.4%) with mean GLD of 1.59mm. Seafan pattern was seen in 16 of 28eyes(57.1%). At 3mth post Rx marked reduction in calibre of smaller vessels & peripheral arcades in 20 of 28 eyes(71.4%) with reduction in CNVM GLD size to 1.45mm. At 6 mth post Rx the trunk vessels & anastomotic loops showed in increased flow in 21 of 28 eyes(75%). CNVM area was smaller but with denser flow. At 12 mth post Rx trunk had larger calibre and straighter course in 22 of 28 eyes(78.5%) with loss of peripheral vessels & smaller branches. CNVM GLD size increased to 1.65mm due to increase size of anastomotic vessels. Conclusion- OCTA was able to detect characteristic changes in CNVM morphology post Rx
