Abstract
Macular surgery is one of the most satisfying surgery in the field of retinal surgery. It requires skill and patience and the best of instruments and illuminations. Expanding knowledge base about the vitreo-retinal interface and tissue healing has given rise to uses of different dyes & different methods. The smaller gauge vitrectomy instruments helped us to explore further. Starting with epiretinal membrane peeling to macular hole surgeries in different situations with tissues and with dyes, all are well explained and discussed. Retinal detachment with macular hole and perfluorocarbon liquids below detached retina needs different surgical skills.
The submacular haemorrhage severely decreases the vision and sometimes surgery is the only resort for vision redemption. The course is crafted in an interactive way with videos by accomplished surgeons in their fields to make it a worthy experience for all who will attend and definitely help them to become better surgeons.
