Abstract
Refractory keratitis is always challenging to manage . It requires meticulous examination , proper investigations , perfect management and regular close observation to see the response . In this journey of infectious keratitis if anything goes wrong at any level , can lead to sight threatening complications. Then managing these complications to prevent it from can see to cannot see is big question.
This course will highlight managing various stages of refractory infectious keratitis like problems with proper diagnosis, management options of non-responders with and without perforations . When to go for therapeutic keratoplasty and how to deal with advanced stage when there is no hope . This will be case scenario based video explanation of each situation . Tips and tricks to overcome surgical difficulties and how to achieve targeted goal will be the main aim of this course.
There will be interactive discussion on common difficulties faced while treating these situations.
